Healthy granola is made at home, unlike many granola spread in the market and that contain added sugars or poor quality substances that can reduce its nutritional value, what distinguishes this granola is that it is easy and sugar-free sweetened with our own stevia, great for breakfast you can add it to Greek yogurt or milk the way you prefer and enjoy the crunch, vegetarian and gluten-free
Prepare the ingredients and most importantly have fun preparing them
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons flaxseeds
- 5 tablespoons water
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1 cup coconut flakes
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup almond butter
- 3 tablespoons Naya Stevia Sweetener
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dried berries (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180 °C and place on the bottom of the parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine flaxseed with water, mix and set aside until thickened (about 5 minutes).
- In a separate large bowl, combine oats, coconut flakes, almonds, walnuts, cinnamon and salt.
- After a few minutes, stir the flaxseeds and water and add to the same bowl the almond butter, stevia and vanilla .
- Combine until completely smooth and then pour the wet mixture into a large bowl with the dry ingredients.
- Mix until everything is well covered and mixed .
- Spread the granola mixture evenly on the baking sheet and place in the oven.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then remove the granola from the oven and stir.
- Before returning to the oven, press the granola down with the oven glove as this will help create a denser granola texture.
- Return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the granola from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes, then sprinkle it on dried cranberries (if used), stir or cut everything into small pieces, and serve or store for later
