Date Center Ingredients:
1/2 cup pitted medjool dates, chopped
1/8 cup of water
Pinch of salt
Dough:
1 cup almond flour
2 tbsp Naya Monk Fruit Classic
1/2 tsp baking powder
85g coconut oil (in solid form)
1 tbsp milk of choice (We used Almond)
1 tbsp rose water
Method:
1.In a saucepan over medium heat, your dates, water, and a pinch of salt
and stir continuously until it turns into a paste (around 2 minutes)
2.Set aside to cool.
3.In a mixing bowl add your flour, Monk Fruit Classic, and baking powder then cut the coconut oil in.
4.Add Rose Water and Milk to the mixture and combine, be careful not to overmix.
5.Preheat your oven to 160°C.
6.Mold your dough into 10 even-sized balls.
7.One by one, flatten each ball into a bowl-like shape, add 1tsp of your date paste to the center of the dough "bowl" and then close the dough around it and place crease side down onto a baking shee.
8.Repeat with all dough and then place into the oven for 25mins.
9.Remove from oven, let cool and enjoy!
